Draw your room, add furniture and try it in different places before you lift anything. Clearance zones, overlaps and the door's swing are checked as you go.

Drag furniture to move it. Or select a piece with Tab or a click, then use the arrow keys to move it (hold Shift for bigger steps), R to turn it and Delete to remove it. Your plan is saved in this browser.

    • No problems: nothing overlaps, nothing is in the door’s swing, and the clearance zones are clear.

How to plan a small room

Measure the room wall to wall, then the door: which wall it is on, how far it is from the corner, its width and which way it opens. Add windows so you don't block them. Pick furniture from the list, change the sizes to your own pieces, and drag them into place.

Shaded strips show the space each piece needs: green when it is clear, red when a wall or another piece is in the way. A bed needs its foot and at least one side clear; a dining table needs one long side free for chairs. Turn on Plan for a wheelchair user to use the wider accessible figures and look for a clear turning circle.

    Questions

    Is my plan uploaded anywhere?

No. The plan is saved only in this browser's local storage, so it is still there next time on this device. Save a PNG to keep a copy or share it.

Can I turn furniture to any angle?

Pieces turn in quarter turns, which covers furniture standing square to the walls. A piece set at an angle in a corner takes more floor than it looks, so plan it square first.

Why is a zone red when nothing is there?

The zone runs into a wall: the piece is closer to the wall than the space it needs. Move it away from the wall, or turn it so the side that needs the space faces into the room.
